Russia to continue development of international financial center
MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- The Russian government has not rejected the idea of creation of an international financial center in the country, but will develop a new road map for the project, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseyev told reporters Tuesday.
“We have not rejected the international financial center, we have fulfilled the previous road map. Now we are developing a new road map,” he said.
Previously, Alexander Voloshin, head of a working group responsible for the creation of the center, said that the road map, which was developed in 2013, has been 99% fulfilled, and infrastructure of the Russian financial market has improved significantly during its implementation.
